According to the WSJ, because of the skyrocketing costs of college and the student debt Millennials will incur, they won’t be able to retire until they are 73. That leaves about 11 years for some sort of retirement – if they are thrifty.
“Generation X” (32-52) and “Millennials” (13 to 31) are the first generations in U.S. history who will not live as well as their parents.
