If you don’t know what your targeted market is really doing, you can’t engage them.
Is Facebook hot? Is Twitter cool? And, what about Instagram?
First of all, anything your mother is using is not cool. And, Millennials’ mothers are on Facebook.
Twitter is the new king of teens, according to a recent teen market research report:
But, if you dig a little deeper into the Pew report, you’ll see:
The typical (median) teen Facebook user has 300 friends, while the typical teen Twitter user has 79 followers.
So, if you’re marketing to the Millennial market, make sure you have your social networks covered. And, try to differentiate yourself. You need to break out of the clutter of tweets, friends, and photos.
