According to MarketWatch.com, Millennials are less punctual than older workers.
22% of Millennial workers report that they are late at least once a week … compared to 15% of Baby Boomers (55+).
Stuff happens, but Millennials need to be trained from day one in proper office decorum. Offer an incentive for coming in on time or even early, like a few free snacks at the coffee machine for the early arrivals. Another possibility … Millennials want to get ahead quickly, so a 15-minute pre-work mentoring session on a skill like public speaking or a meet-and-greet with a company officer might help Millennial employees get in the habit of being on time.
